Fishing Report Lake Richland Chambers
Updated: July 1, 2010

As of today 7/1/10 Water off colored, 87-89 degrees, .12 low.

Lures, Tips & Tactics Used:  Bass are fair to good on topwater
early, switching to Texas rigs, jigs, wacky rigs and small swim baits
later in the day. If you like to drag deep water try a deep crank bait
or a Carolina rig off the deep structure, you can pick up a good
one doing this.

Fishing Cover/Structure
Native pondweeds are abundant in Big Cedar Creek and along the
south bank of the Chambers Creek arm. Hydrilla is scattered along
the south bank of the Richland Creek arm from Midway Marina
west to the railroad trestle and from 7L ramp south to Pin Oak
Creek. The old Trinity River levee forms a crescent-shaped
underwater structure between the confluence of the Richland and
Chambers creek arms and the dam.
